After 7 months of closure, the Werkbundarchiv – Museum der Dinge invites visitors to its new location at Leipziger Straße 54 in Berlin-Mitte.
On May 22, 2024, the museum will open with the exhibition “Profitopolis or the Condition of the City“. The exhibition will be accompanied by a rich programme of events and educational activities. We cordially invite you to the opening at 7 pm.
The archive and library are accessible again by appointment.
The new, permanent exhibition on the Deutscher Werkbund and the product and design culture of the 20th and 21st centuries will open on November 8, 2024.
The preparation of the museum space was made possible through funding from the Senatsverwaltung für Kultur und Gesellschaftlichen Zusammenhalt.
The move, re-equipment and presentation of the permanent exhibition at the new location is made possible through funding from the LOTTO-Stiftung Berlin.
The exhibition “Profitopolis” is supported by the Hauptstadtkulturfonds.
