On Saturday, November 30, 2024 the Werkbundarchiv – Museum der Dinge warmly invites its thing-patrons and those who are interested in becoming one. Thing-patrons take on a symbolic patronage for objects from the museum’s collection.
Admission is free and there will be a guided tour in German starting at 14:00 for those who are interested. After that, at around 15:00, we will serve tea, coffee, cake and other festive sweets for a casual chat with other guests and our museum team.
On this day, you can browse some selected items from the exhibition for possible symbolic patronage, for which you can negotiate the price right away. These patronages last for one whole year and are tied to a donation. With questions and recommendations, the museum staff is of course happy to help. You can have your picture taken with your special thing as well!
As a thank you for your support, you will receive a Patrons-Card with which you can visit your thing at all times. It is also possible to have a group (e.g. companies, families) be the collective patron of one thing. Thing-patronages can be gifted to someone as well. The names of our thing-patrons can also be displayed on our website and in the entrance of the museum. Adoptable things can also be selected and reserved directly via our website.
