As part of the Fête de la Musique on June 21, the Original Oberkreuzberg Nose Flute Orchestra will perform starting at 4 pm on the square in front of the Werkbundarchiv – Museum der Dinge.
For 35 years, the Original Oberkreuzberg Nose Flute Orchestra has been performing well-known songs – from ABBA to Frank Zappa – on the nose flute. The small wind instrument, featuring a mouthpiece and a nose piece, is played by the band with great energy, self-irony, and a delight in musical disruption. The performances of the Kreuzberg band, which describes itself as “anarchic, regressive,” resemble a neo-Dadaist performance.
For the Fête de la Musique, Werkbundarchiv – Museum der Dinge is offering free admission to all visitors on June 21.
